Starting Anew
Hi again. I’ve gotta say that 2010 proved to be an interesting year- professionally and personally. Definitely a year of transition, especially the second half when I decided that I wanted to get back on the air. Yeah, I was shooting my segments for “See Jane Run,” but it wasn’t the same as live television. I guess, after being away from the action, made me miss it. Whadaya know, the gift of appreciation! This also coincided with my plan of action to move to Denver, so the beau and I could live in the same city after “commuting” for so long. Next step was to actually find a gig. The crazy thing was that, after I moved was when work prospects had me entertaining a relocation (yet again!) to Pennsylvania, Florida, Texas. Nowhere close to Colorado. Oy! It’s only now that I can say that I’m back on the air and in the city where I now call “new home.” Back to where it all started- traffic reporting every 10 minutes- this time on Denver’s CW station, Channel 2 (“The Deuce”). Back to getting up at 2:30 AM! I’m still adjusting, but with this new appreciation for the process, I don’t mind! I’m also in the process of updating my personal website.
As for the production company I helped co-found, it is in the good hands of my ole business partner, Rosemary. The decision to direct enCompass Entertainment to more of a management company, was an organic one. I, on the other hand, will solely handle babies, “See Jane Run” and “World of Dance.” It was a great ride. But now it’s time to begin again.

Congrats Miss Jane!!! Not only on your new location and gig, but most importantly for all the adventure of 2010. So many people stop short of trying what is in their heart, but you didn’t – you jumped in with all of you.
The adventures were great and I’m sure you learned a lot about yourself too. That you followed your heart and took such an awesome journey is an inspiration to all of us!!
Congrats to The Beau too…I’d be willing to guess that at the very least, his budget is thrilled that you’re now in the same city

That is what life is about, right? The spirit of adventure… And yes, glad to be saving on airfares too.

WELCOME TO DENVER!
When I lived there, we of course blamed the Californians for not being able to drive in the snow – lol -
You’re in a great place; I have wonderful memories of hiking the mountains, rafting the rapids, hot-air balooning near Aspen (and almost crashing into a McMansion garage), and the great museums and theatrical productions at a decent price. The plentiful microbreweries added a nice touch as well.
I’ll be visiting family in Littleton during the Christmas season and look forward to seeing a familiar face on CW2.
PS. The I-70 – I-25 merge is so pleasant compared to the dreaded I-10 – I-405 merge, yes? lol

I think these days, CO may be the second Cali! I’ve met so many people who wanted to get out of dodge. The welcome mat has been rolled out. (and I already know where Littleton is.) Supposed to go to Vail this weekend… how nice to be so close.

Back in the saddle again (so to speak)… Fantastico !!! Not quite center stage but you’ll get there soon enough. Who knows, your road may lead back to LA once again. It would be cool to see you as a judge of ‘Dancing w/ the Stars … who knows … best to you .. stay warm ..
